24V or 48V: Which is Best for Long Pathways?

Garden pathways are often long. If you use 12V, the lights near the house will be bright, and the lights at the garden gate will be dim.

For landscape projects involving long 50-foot or 100-foot runs, standardize on 24V or 48V systems. This minimizes voltage drop, ensuring the beginning and end of your pathway have exactly the same brightness without needing expensive re-wiring.

Solving the Voltage Drop

As a distributor or contractor, labor is your biggest cost. Running extra 120V power lines to the back of a garden just to inject power into a 12V strip is a waste of money.

Select the Right Voltage:
